Overview

This conference will address the issue of carbon trading and finance in the US. It will provide an overview of the main agreements in this area, present a comparison with the emissions trading schemes in the EU and other countries, and put forth the latest trends to reduce greenhouse gases and carbon emissions. The last panel of the day will provide a platform for new carbon market ideas.

The aim will be to bring together practitioners, in-house legal personnel, executive officers and regulatory policy advisors to exchange information of practical relevance.

The conference will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Washington D.C.
